IceMaker Troubleshooting Tips

It doesn't work at all

No power to the ice maker
Make sure there's power getting to the icemaker. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power by using a working lamp or circuit tester. If problem continues, call Holliday Mechanical.

If the icemaker is not keeping cold

Check seal on door
First, check seal around the ice maker door. Check to see if the door switch is able to kept shut. If problem continues, call Holliday Mechanical.

Temperature gauge
Look at the temperature gauge to ensure that the setting is at an appropriate temperature. Next, check the water pipe to see if it is frozen. If the problem continues, call Holliday Mechanical.

If the ice maker doesn't make ice

Frozen water pipe
If you hear the buzzing noise after the arm swings into motion, the water valve is unable to deliver the water. Check the water supply. It could be a frozen pipe. If the problem continues, call Holliday Mechanical.
